Sheringham warned of rogue trader

A warning has gone out to householders in the Sheringham area after a suspected rogue trader was reported in the area. A man offering to cut hedges and do gardening work was very anxious to enter a property in the Norfolk Road area, and was believed to have visited other local homes, said police, who reminded people to double check the identity of cold calls, and seek quotes and references before any work is carried out.

A warning has gone out to householders in the Sheringham area after a suspected rogue trader was reported in the area. A man offering to cut hedges and do gardening work was very anxious to enter a property in the Norfolk Road area, and was believed to have visited other local homes, said police, who reminded people to double check the identity of cold calls, and seek quotes and references before any work is carried out.
