Sheringham's dedicated team of town councillors are appealing for community-minded residents to consider joining them in helping shape the future of the town.
The council is looking to co-opt people who, as well as attending full council meetings on Tuesday evenings, would be willing to join council committees tasked with looking at issues and assets ranging from finance, planning and environmental sustainability, to youth strategy, community communication and the Weybourne Road allotments.
No experience is needed, the non-political role is unpaid and those applying need to be aged 18 or over and a registered elector.
Town clerk Denise Medler said the council was seeking people from a diverse range of backgrounds to ensure the whole community was represented.
She added: 'Councillors are involved in making decisions that affect the future of the town, so we would encourage anyone with a passion for serving their community to apply.'
