Sheringham leisure centre Splash will be marking its 30th anniversary on Saturday, with a day of activities ranging from arts and crafts and a bouncy castle, to free swimming sessions.
Organised by duty managers Abbie Buxton and Ash Allen, the event, which will also see staff run face painting and cupcake decorating stalls, will culminate in a pool party for youngsters and their families.
The centre drew huge crowds when it was opened by Princess Diana in May 1988, and many people have been sharing their memories on the Splash Facebook page.
'We have still got people coming to the gym who were here when we first opened,' Ms Buxton said. 'We want people to come along and help us celebrate as a 30th birthday is quite a big one.'
Splash will be offering free fitness classes and swimming all day from 10am-4pm. The pool party will run from 4pm-5pm. Tickets, priced £1 are available from Splash reception, phone 01263 825675.
