Twenty-year-old Felicity Farroway was chosen as this year's Sheringham carnival queen at a selection dance held at the Crown pub on Tuesday (May 05). Felicity, who is waiting to take up a place as a trainee paramedic, will be crowned by town mayor Noel Gant when the carnival kicks off with an action-packed programme of events at the Leas on August 2nd.

Felicity, who is waiting to take up a place as a trainee paramedic, will be crowned by town mayor Noel Gant when the carnival kicks off with an action-packed programme of events at the Leas on August 2.
Trainee hairdresser Tisha West, 16, and teaching assistant Aneliese Smith, 21, will be attendants. The trio will be joined in the carnival parade by a prince and princess, to be chosen at a competition to be held at Sheringham community centre on July 31.
Felicity, who works as a cook and was an attendant last year, said: "It is a real honour, and I'm looking forward to representing Sheringham."
