A flat fire in Sheringham which saw one man rescued is being treated as arson, police have confirmed.
Fire crews from Sheringham, Cromer, Holt and North Walsham were called to the flats on Cromer Road just before 9.50pm on Tuesday night.
Police said one person had been rescued from the building, with witnesses on the scene saying ladders were used to get them out.
And officers confirmed on Wednesday morning that the incident was being treated as arson.
The East of England Ambulance Service said they sent an ambulance and ambulance officer to the scene where they cared for one man. He did not need to be taken to hospital.
Firefighters used main and hose reel jets to put out the fire, before using imaging cameras to make sure no hotspots remained.
It had been brought under control by 10.50pm.
