A celebration to mark the purchase of a wooden seat dedicated to West Runton Women's Institute stalwart Kitty Pearson has been held at the village railway station.
A Runtons and District WI committee member for nearly 40 years, Kitty, who died in 2007, was twice president of the group.
She was also a founder member of a station adopter team which transformed a patch of overgrown land into an award-winning garden.
The bench, which was bought with part of a bequest left by Kitty to the Norfolk Federation of Women's Institutes, was dedicated in Kitty's memory by her best friend and fellow former Runtons WI president Mary Denton.
Guests at the ceremony included WI and station adopter team members, friends, and members of Kitty's family.
Station adopter Jane Bothwell paid tribute to Kitty's dedication to the WI.
