A 26 year-old man has been caught by police driving a stolen car while disqualified.

Graeme McAlpine from Post Office Lane, Saxthorpe, admitted driving along Banningham Road, Aylsham on July 2 whilst disqualified, when he appeared at court on July 14. He also pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and driving without insurance.
McAlpine was first disqualified from driving in May 2010, for being in excess of twice the legal drink drive limit.
On July 14, he was sentenced to carry out 200 hours unpaid work in the community, banned from driving for 15 months and fined �85.
