Roughton's Jet garage, which also has a shop and post office, is being marketed because its owner for the past 25
Allan Davison is planning to retire.
Details from agents Christie and Co says the petrol station, currently a 24-hour operation, sold about 5.5m litres of fuel worth 5.2m of income, plus further shop income of 1.3m in 2008, providing a gross profit of 445,000.
The filling station has won a number of fuel industry and forecourt trading awards over the years.
Christie's associate director Melvyn Eke said there was already 'good interest' and the filling station sector of the market was 'very strong at the moment.'
The package of petrol, shop and post office could be attractive to individual, corporate or small corporate operators with a handful of stations.
