Children from a North Walsham school have had the chance to get hands-on with different animals.
Pupils from form one and kindergarten class at St Nicholas House School in North Walsham had a visit from a vet and a veterinary nurse who bought along with them, Bob the puppy.
The children were given advice on handling animals and had a chance to listen, through a stethoscope, to the dog's heartbeat.
They also had the chance to see Guinea pigs and learnt to feed them carrots rather than dog food.
