Staff from a north Norfolk pub are preparing to scale the heights in a bid to raise money for charity.

Ben Hughes and James Bird, 26, who work at The White Horse in Overstrand are taking part in a charity skydive on August 18 to raise money for East Anglia's Children's Hospices. (EACH)

Mr Hughes, 20, who works in the kitchens, said: 'Each year at the pub we have a charity for the year and this year it is EACH and we thought it would be a good way to raise money for them. This is the first time doing a skydive for both of us, so I think the nerves will kick in on the day.'

Mr Bird, who is manager at the pub, said: 'I have never done a skydive before, I have always wanted to and this opportunity came to do it for charity and I jumped at the chance. We have had a lot of support from customers, family and friends as well.'
