Post office theft charge

A post office employee has been charged with stealing almost �12,000 over the last 13 years.
Alison Henderson, 51, of Worstead Post Office, Back Lane, Worstead, appeared at Norwich Crown Court yesterday charged with one count of theft of �11,957 and one of false accounting after allegedly recording false figures. The charges date between 1997 and this year.
She pleaded not guilty to both charges and will appear again for a trial later in the year.
