Axe-wielding robbers are believed to be behind two raids in Norfolk at the weekend.
Police are investigating after shops in Coltishall and Spixworth were targeted just over 24 hours apart.
Alcohol was stolen during a break-in at the premises in Coltishall’s High Street on Saturday around 1.30am after thieves smashed their way in through a window in the door with what is believed to be an axe.
And on Sunday, around 2am, alcohol and tobacco was stolen from a property at Crostwick Lane in Spixworth after thieves smashed a glass door panel.
Officers are linking the two burglaries and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
