Plans have been put forward for a new cash machine to be built in North Walsham town centre.
The 24-hour ATM, would be installed by company Bankmachine, and would be on the wall outside Martin McColl's shop in Church Street.
The store is located with a conservation area and a grade II listed building, but planning documents submitted with the application to North Norfolk District Council, state: 'After looking into this we have discovered that although the building is within a conservation area, this does not mean that it has to remain frozen in time, change is often necessary to accommodate the demands of modern living.'
The plans are currently under consultation.
