A petition has been started to install proper seating at bus shelters in Stalham.
Michael Castle, co-ordinator of The Happing Partnership, who are supporting the plea, said: 'The present freezing conditions and delayed buses have highlighted the problem for elderly people having absolutely nowhere to sit at the busy Old Station and Tesco Layby bus shelters.'
So far, four completed petition sheets have been filled in. Anyone wishing to sign the petition can do so in the Happing Shop, next to the Stalham Post Office.
The petition will be passed onto Stalham Town Council in January.
