Driver in north Norfolk fatal crash died of head injuries, inquest hears

An inquest has opened into the death of a 53-year-old man who was killed in a car accident in north Norfolk.
Peter John Bruce, from Cawston, died after the car he was driving "left the road" on the B1145 through the village on Sunday, May 19, at 8.40pm.
Floral tributes were left on the roadside at the scene.
The inquest opening, held at Norfolk Coroners' Court on Monday, May 28, heard Mr Bruce died at the scene.
Senior coroner Jacqueline Lake said: "Mr Bruce was driving his vehicle when there was a collision.
"I understand there was no other vehicle involved."
Ms Lake heard Mr Bruce was identified by his partner, Dorothy Amos, who said he was born on August 17, 1965, in Peckham, London, and lived at New Street, Cawston.
His occupation was given as a gardener and glazier.
Dr Ahsan Ali gave his medical cause of death as head injuries due to road traffic collision.
The inquest was adjourned to November 15, 2019.
