People urged to supprt charity ball
A charity ball is being held to raise money for a charity which teaches life-saving skills.
A charity ball is being held to raise money for a charity which teaches life-saving skills.
The May Ball event, in aid of Heartstart Medics Norwich, takes place at Northrepps Cottage Country Hotel in Northrepps on Saturday, May 15, from 7pm onwards.
As well as a three-course meal and raffle, the black tie and evening gown event includes live music by Dale Bullimore and a disco.
Heartstart Medics (Norwich) was formed in May 2004 by East of England Ambulance NHS Trust personnel Jeanne Reynolds and Peter Simpson.

It was formed with the aim of teaching Essential Life Saving skills to the public in general. Following the success of this programme, in May 2005 they also commenced the Heartstart UK Schools Programme, where they include teachers in learning life saving skills.
To date 108 schools in Norfolk have become involved with the scheme.
