Pantomime star Caitlin Stasey, who is playing Snow White at Norwich Theatre Royal this season, flicked the festive lights switch in Cromer.
Caitlin grew up in Norfolk, moving to Norwich in 1997, and is a big City fan. She plays Rachel Kinski in TV soap Neighbours and has been staying with relatives in Norwich in advance of her panto performances.
Stars of the panto and Seaside Special stage have regularly been asked to throw the Cromer switch over the years. This year, the lights switch-on coincided with the opening night of the Seaside Special.
In Aylsham, Father Christmas left the Bure Valley Railway to make his way to the Market Place, where he was joined by
the headteachers of the four
Aylsham schools for the switch-on ceremony.
