Pupils at St. Nicholas House School in North Walsham have held their own harvest festival celebrations.
The school held a special Harvest Festival assembly which began with a performance of The Parable of the Sower, performed by form four in the school hall.
As well as songs from key stage one and two pupils, Jessica Spooner recited Burning the Stubble,by Jon Stallworthy and another pupil, Finlay Archer, sang a poem by Eunice Fallon entitled August.
A prayer was also said by head girl Holly Eagle and head boy James Somers.
A spokeswoman from the school said: “We would like to thank everybody for donating harvest goodies and a special thank you to Isabella and Paul Rushen of the Cockeral Tea rooms for the beautiful bread sheaf.”
When the harvest festival assembly had finished, some of the older children took all the goods and food which had been donated to the Salvation Army in North Walsham.
