Electors in North Norfolk have registered a resounding 71pc 'No' to the idea of changing the voting system for electing MPs.
Results of the AV referendum in the district, announced this evening, saw 28,555 people vote 'No' to adopting the alternative vote system with 11,799 voting 'Yes'.
A total of 40,641 ballot papers were cast, representing a turnout of 50.09pc. The number of ballot papers rejected was 287.
