Businesses, community groups, charities and town and parish councils have been invited to a workshop that will offer guidance and tips on how to write grant applications and funding bids.
Councillor Nigel Dixon, the North Norfolk District Council's portfolio holder for economic development and business, said: 'There are quite a few pitfalls to be aware of when applying for funding that can result in your application getting declined automatically. It can be as simple as just going over the word count in the application.
'This workshop will give businesses and other organisations the chance to pick up some top tips and learn how to spot potential pitfalls.'
The event will be held at the council's Holt Road, Cromer offices on Wednesday, May 16, at 1.30pm.
Places can be booked by emailing grants@north-norfolk.gov.uk or calling 01263 516009.
