More than £19,000 has been given to three transport schemes that help vulnerable, disadvantaged and isolated north Norfolk residents.
North Walsham-based charity North Norfolk Community Transport is getting £15,812 to help pay for a bookable weekday accessible car service from North Norfolk District Council's community transport fund.
The service is for wheelchair users and those who need help to get to medical appointments, services and activities.
Ludham Village Car Scheme is getting £1,500 for its service, and £2,000 is going to North Walsham Good Neighbour Scheme.
Councillor Eric Seaward, NNDC deputy leader and portfolio holder for finance, revenue and benefits said: 'I am delighted that three local projects have received funding in the latest round. I hope that further funding support can be given in the next round in March and that this funding can be become a permanent feature in the council's community grants programme'.
