Youngsters from a north Norfolk primary school competed aginst hundreds of other pupils to win places and prizes in a mythology competition.
Pupils from Years 5 and 6 at Millfield in North Walsham, who are learning Latin, entered this year's Minimus Mythology Competition.
Violet Rayner and Isla Harrison won a runner-up prize in the art category. Tegan Hicks won an individual prize in the creative writing category for her poem and Grace Fisher won a runner-up prize for her diary entry.
The judges said: 'Grace made an imaginative and adventurous choice to write her diary entry in Latin. It was great to see her applying her Latin talents to a creative piece of writing.'
Latin teacher Dawn Price said, 'I am so proud of the effort all the pupils gave with their entries this year, a massive well done to the winners I am delighted that they have kept the tradition going.'
