A charity forced to move from its headquarters has found a new home - and moves in next month.

The Norfolk Deaf Association is relocating to a new base on the Meridian Business Park in Thorpe, from its previous location on Thorpe Road.

For the past five years, the charity had been based on the ground floor of Graphic House, however, it was left in need of a new home when the building’s landlord opted to turn the whole site into flats.

The NDA will now move into its new base on Thursday, June 7, with regular services continuing until the day before the move and resuming on Monday, June 11.

Aliona Derrett, NDA chief executive, said: “We have designed all the rooms in our new location to be even more multi-purpose than the base we have now.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming people into our new home.”
