Clearer warmer windows are being fitted to the Coastwatch lookout station at Mundesley thanks to a 2,084 grant from the Sheringham Shoal windfarm community fund.
Replacing the windows with sealed double-glazed units will cut down heat loss draughts and improve visibility said station spokesman Derek Evans.
Volunteers man the National Coastwatch Mundesley station above the maritime museum in Beach Road for 10 hours a day, every day of the year. They log about 4,000 hours of service and 8,600 vessel movements passing the village.
