A new branch of the supermarket chain Sainsbury's opened its doors in Sheringham yesterday. The opening of the Sainsbury's Local convenience store in the former Woolworths on High Street saw children from Sheringham Primary School on hand to cut a ribbon.

The opening of the Sainsbury's Local convenience store in the former Woolworths on High Street saw children from Sheringham Primary School on hand to cut a ribbon.
The shop has created 20 new jobs and will be open from 7am to 11pm seven days a week.
Store manager Lee Hinton said: 'We received a great response from the public on the first day of opening with customers queuing before opening to take a look around.
'The customers have given us really positive feedback about the store and the ranges on offer.
'We are looking forward to getting to know more customers in store over the next few weeks.'
