Patricia Mary Brooks has been elected to Sheringham Town Council, to fill the south ward vacancy left by the retirement, through health reasons, of Harold Prior.
She polled 308 votes in Thursday's by-election, ahead of Graham Derek Curlew with 182, Malcolm Gary Little with 124 and John Edward Bush with 90. There was a 22pc turnout for the election.
