A young councillor has stepped into the shoes of former mayor Tony Nash.
Twenty-four-year-old Tim Adams was elected mayor of Cromer, with Tim Bartlett as deputy.
Mr Adams, who joined the council on his 20th birthday, said he felt 'indebted' to Cromer because it had given him so much.
He left college at 17 and worked on a farm before building his carpet upholstery cleaning business in the town.
'I am just trying to give something back', he said.
Mr Adams said he was best-known for dealing with parking and planning issues.
One of his goals was to carry out a review of parking in Cromer, and he added that community involvement was at the top of his list for issues concerning the town.
The new mayor, whose girlfriend Kayleigh Chew will be his consort, added: 'There is going to be a lot to do but it's going to be a great year for Cromer.'
