New sessions to help people with art tips and feel better about themselves are being staged at North Walsham as a social networking project expands its services.

The Voyager group, run by the local Griffon partnership, gives people a place to meet and talk as well as the chance to try out new skills such as arts and crafts.

From October 5 an art club will be run at the Saddlers Shop on Monday afternoons. Artist Fiona Muller will help people try it for the first time, or provide tips to improve. People can attend the drop-ins weekly or on a less regular basis. Each session costs 2.

The self esteem sessions on Monday mornings, offer help and workshops to improve people's confidence. Each session, at the St Benet Hall from 10am to noon, costs 5 or 30 for the whole course. A programme is available from the Griffon Area Partnership on 01692 407509 or email Sue at northwalshamarea@hotmail.com.
