Marks & Spencer is putting petite shoppers firmly in the spotlight with the launch of a brand new collection fronted by Dannii Minogue, who has been unveiled as the retailer's new Petite Fashion Ambassador.
The collection has been designed specifically for women who usually struggle to find clothes that fit straight off the rail, with M&S promising carefully adjusted proportions, shorter hems and perfectly placed waistlines – meaning no expensive alterations.
Prices start at just £28, with everything from effortless day dresses to satin occasionwear and wide-leg jeans.
If you've ever had to roll up trousers, shorten sleeves or pay for a dress to be altered, this is the collection M&S hopes will solve those problems.

Why Dannii Minogue says the collection matters
As someone who has long championed petite fashion, Dannii says finding clothes that genuinely fit can make a huge difference to confidence.
Dannii Minogue believes many women still misunderstand what petite sizing actually means (Image: M&S)
She said: "I am so pleased to have arrived back at M&S as their Petite Fashion Ambassador because I can look at their collection and say with a full heart… 'Love That'."
She added: "The team here are diligent about perfecting the fit, and I know when clothes fit without the hassle and cost of alterations, that I am more confident."
Dannii believes many women still misunderstand what petite sizing actually means.
She explained: "I see petite people everywhere that are wearing clothing that doesn't fit them, and I believe that is because they still think 'petite' is a dress-size and not a clothing-fit."
She added: "I want them to know that M&S has what they need."

Why this collection could prove popular
Rather than simply making standard clothing shorter, M&S says every garment has been redesigned with petite proportions in mind, from sleeve lengths and waist placement to hemlines and silhouettes.
The retailer says its Short/Petite and Extra Short sizing is designed to help shoppers find the right fit immediately, whether shopping online or in store.
With flattering everyday staples, occasion dresses and on-trend denim all included, the collection looks set to become one of M&S's biggest fashion launches of the season - and could be particularly popular with shoppers looking to avoid the cost and inconvenience of alterations.
