Madonna fans have been left angry this morning (January 19) after discovering the steep cost of a ticket to the pop icon's UK tour date.

It comes as the 'Hung Up' singer announced earlier this week that she would be visiting the O2 Arena for a one-off UK show as part of her 'Celebration' tour.

Marking the 'Queen of Pop's 40-year career, the show will take fans through Madonna's artistic journey through four decades and pays tribute to New York City, where her career in music began.

With pre-sale tickets on sale today, many fans of Madonna were quick to try and snap some up before they all sold out but were left shocked when they discover the steep prices.

Fans found that tickets reached an eye-watering £1,306.75 for VIP package.

Many were shocked at the prices, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One fan wrote: "Madonna's tickets are just too expensive" whilst another said, "I expected Madonna to be expensive but I just can’t justify £432 for a standing ticket… Or even £276 for a Floor Seat."

But others think the prices are reasonable, with one Madonna fan sharing: "People complaining about Madonna's high ticket prices are literally 3 years behind. When she did the Palladium in 2020 the prices were super crazy—and that was the before times."

Madonna 2023 Ticket Prices

Although not all tickets reached the £1.3k amount, with standard seating costing £47.55.

However, fans found out that the average cost of standard tickets to see Madonna will set you back £93.

There are other options that cost £436.85 if you wanted tickets at a more affordable price.

Along with the 'Immaculate VIP Package' that costs over £1.3k, there are other VIP options for 'Legacy Members' costing £729.75.

However, these prices do not include booking fees for the more expensive options that cost an extra £23.10 per person.

Tickets to see Madonna at London's O2 Arena go on sale at 10am on Friday January 20 via Ticketmaster.
