It has been two years since Donna Cossey found the courage to have breast reconstruction surgery after attending a fashion show with a difference.
And now the 50-year-old and her daughter Luella Cossey, 18, from Sea Palling, are getting ready to take part in the More Than Just Fashion event themselves.
Luella said she would perform a dance number at the October 3-4 show, which is run by breast cancer charity Keeping Abreast, and her mum would be one of the models there.
She said going to the More Than Just Fashion event in 2016 had given a boost to both her and her mum, who was diagnosed with breast cancer about two-and-a-half years ago. Luella said: 'People going there can meet people who have been through the same experience, and get support. It was going to the first show that also gave my mum the confidence to have reconstruction.'
The show takes place at Norwich's Open, visit opennorwich.org.uk for more.
