Motorists sent on a diversion route were met with problems as the first day of three weeks of work started on a north Norfolk road.
Motorists sent on a diversion route were met with problems as the first day of three weeks of work started on a north Norfolk road.
Work has begun today to repair and resurface Coast Road, Bacton.
During the works, which will last three works, sections of the roads will be closed to all through traffic in three stages.
During stage one, which lasts until Thursday, , the road is closed at the junction of Old Coast Road and Coast Road.
A diversion route has been set up around Old Hall Road, Witton but unfortunately this morning the road was flooded so motorists were warned to take extra care.
From Friday, February 26 to Wednesday, March 3, Coast Road to Abbey Street will be closed and from Tuesday, March 2 to Friday, March 12, Abbey Street and the road up to 150m east of Poachers Pocket Motel will be closed.
