New poop-scoop bins are set to be sited at five North Walsham sites: the green on Acorn Road; the end of Mundesley Road at the start of the Paston Way footpath; Cromer Road, near Laundry Loke; Station Road, close to its junction with Morris Road; and on Bradfield Road.
Town councillors agreed the locations at their meeting last week. They will buy and install the bins which will be emptied weekly by North Norfolk District Council staff.
Councillors are also to ask the district whether notices could be placed on ordinary waste bins telling dog owners that they can also be used for bagged droppings.
