People in Cromer are set to benefit from more NHS dentist services.

NHS Norfolk has commissioned G Enslin Dental Practice, owned by Gerry Enslin, on West Street in Cromer, to carry out more NHS dental work from the beginning of April.

The decision was taken after the practice made a successful bid for a contract with NHS Norfolk, who identified Cromer as an area in need of additional dental services.

The new contract will see the practice increase the amount of NHS dental work they carry out from 3,000 to 17,000 units of dental activity, (UDAs).

UDAs are a measurement of all dental work carried out, such as routine appointments and treatments, with more complex tasks valued at a higher number of UDAs.

New equipment is being brought into the practice so work can be carried out in rooms which are currently unused.

The practice will also offer some late evening and Saturday morning appointments to make it easier for patients to access a dentist.

Patients can book appointments with the dental practice by visiting the practice at 17 - 19 West Street or contacting them by telephone on 01263 515229.
