A man was threatened with a knife in a Sheringham robbery.

A man was threatened with a knife in a Sheringham robbery, police said.

It happened at the Sheringham Putting Green on Station Road between 4pm and 4.15pm on Saturday, February 24.

The victim, a man in his late teens, was approached by another man who demanded cash and threatened him with what is believed to have been a knife.

The suspect then made off with a small quantity of cash and the victim was not injured.

Later that evening officers arrested a man, aged in his 20s and from the Sheringham area, on suspicion of robbery.

He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries until Saturday, March 24.

Officers believe this was an isolated incident and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed it to contact them on 101.
