A spokesman for Norfolk County Council's fire and rescue service, said the fire is not believed to be suspicious, with the most likely cause an electrical fault, caused by vermin chewing through cables in the roof.
Victory chief executive John Archibald said: 'Our priority in these circumstances is people not property. The resident of the first bungalow with the roof damage is away at the moment, but they have been told what has happened. When they return we will find alternative accommodation for them, and the person in the second bungalow has also been found temporary accommodation.'
Crews were also called out to tackle a third floor flat in Church Street, Cromer on Tuesday .
The kitchen fire happened shortly after 3.10am and was extinguished by 4am.
