There is a low level of crime in North Walsham town centre and the police are supported in doing this by CCTV cameras.

I also attended the same safer neighbourhood (Snap) meeting.

The police in particular praised the town council for funding CCTV cameras in the town centre as this helps them to combat crime and anti-social behaviour. The police regularly look at the CCTV cameras footage.

This unfortunately was omitted by your correspondent Elaine Addison.

This is because she and the local Labour Party want to stop the town council funding CCTV cameras which do so much to help our local police.
