By the time nominations for this year's learndirect Achievement Awards close of March 27, organisers hope the list will include some of the 26,000 East of England residents who took up a course over the past year.
Currently, over 122,000 learners across the East region are choosing to improve their skills through learndirect. The awards will celebrate those learners and businesses who are going that extra mile to develop their own or other people's skills.
The most popular course, with more than 4,600 learners across the region having taken it, is Using Your Computer.
The 2009 learndirect Achievement Awards is open to individual learners, businesses and the people and learndirect centres that support them across England and Wales.
