Cromer-based writer, broadcaster and entertainer Keith Skipper will be signing copies of his latest book and enjoying a mardle at the Jarrold store in Cromer on Saturday, December 9 between 11am and 1pm.

All Preachers Great and Small (Poppyland Publishing, £9.95) is Keith’s 41st book with that distinctive Norfolk flavour.

It charts a marathon entertaining tour of over 100 local churches and chapels with a band of talented friends in the name of cheerful fundraising.

It also includes a large silver collection of yarns centred around pew and pulpit, along with favourite prayers, readings and verses shared on those rounds.

Mr Skipper has lived in Cromer since 1988. Born at Beeston-next-Mileham, he is a founder chairman of Fond - the Friends Of Norfolk Dialect - and was awarded an MBE in 2007.

A former journalist, he joined BBC Radio Norfolk in 1980 and spent 15 years with the station.
