Precast concrete manufacturer Carter Concrete has made five staff redundant due to the down turn in the construction industry.
The Beeston Reegis-based firm, near Sheringham, employs 45-50 staff and supplies and installs precast and prestressed concrete products for use in construction and was founded about 35 years ago.
A spokesman for the firm said the reason was 'the same s everyone else, the downturn in the construction industry is hitting, especially the building products industry'.
Carter Concrete is a part of the RG Carter Group.
Consultation over the loss of about 50 jobs at two of Carter's other firms, Fisher and Son at Fakenham and H Bullen and Son at Cromer, was launched last month according to union sources.
