An adventure seeking girl whose family live in North Norfolk is embarking on another odyssey –riding around seven countries on the shore of the Black Sea on a 20-year-old moped.

Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent chugged her way into the record books in 2007 when she and a friend drove 12,000 mile from Bangkok to Brighton in a three wheeled tuk-tuk taxi to raise more than 40,000 for mental health charity Mind.

Now the 31 year old, known as Ants who is working in Bristol, but whose family live in the Wiveton area, will tackle her latest journey with friend Kerry Burns on Honda C90 mopeds – more suited to delivering pizzas.

The journey, starting in Bulgaria and heading through Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Romania, will take three weeks at 25mph and will raise funds for the Holly Hedge animal shelter.
