Engineers are working hard to restore power after several power cuts across the region.

A power cut in the Brinton area, south-west of Holt, has affected about 315 homes in the NR24 2, NR25 6, and NR25 7 post code areas.

Engineers are investigating a high voltage overhead electricity line fault.

The power cut was reported at 11.35am and the estimated time for the power to be restored has been put back to between 5pm and 6pm.

Meanwhile, power has been restored in Briston, near Melton Constable, after 42 homes in the postcode NR24 2 area were affected by a power cut.

Power had been switched off 'due to a faulty piece of underground network equipment'.

This power cut was reported at 11.18am and power restored before 3pm.

Meanwhile, another power cut, south of Cromer, is affecting 413 customers in the NR11 7, NR11 8, NR27 9, NR3 1 postcode areas.

Engineers are again investigating a high voltage overhead electricity line fault.

This power cut was reported at 1.26pm with an estimated time for power to be restored put back to between 6pm and 7pm.

A UK Power Networks spokesman said: 'Our engineers are working quickly and safely to resolve three unrelated incidents in North Norfolk. Near Cromer, 413 properties are without power because of overhead line damage. In Brinton it is believed a third party damaged an overhead power line leaving 315 properties without supply, while in nearby Briston 42 properties are without power due to an underground cable fault. We appreciate how difficult it is to be without power and apologise for any inconvenience caused.'
