A new showroom selling caravan accessories is set to open in a former Methodist chapel - with hopes the business will 'clean the place up'.
The disused chapel, on Cromer Road in West Runton, was built in 1951 but had become redundant.
Now planners at North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) have given the green light to the owners of the neighbouring Caravan Accessory Shop to use the building as an expansion of their premises.
All of the chapel's religious furnishings including the pew have already been removed by the former owner.
Runton Parish Council, which had no objections to the plans, said: "[We] are of the opinion that it will clean up the area."
The church went on the market earlier this year for £225,000.
There is also an outer building that used to be a kitchen and is currently set up as a store room with a cloakroom and toilet.
