A former churchwarden has been recognised for dedicating more than five decades of tireless service to his community.
Herbert Smith served in the parish of Honing with Crostwight - near North Walsham - for 52 years, devoting his time to the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Honing and All Saints in Crostwight.

The 88-year-old was first appointed in 1966 and saw 10 priests during his tenure, including the current priest-in-charge the Rev Canon Simon Lawrence.
For 40 years he was joined as churchwarden by his late wife, Heather, and eventually retired in April 2018.
Last month, Mr Lawrence presented Mr Smith with a certificate to mark his long and outstanding service to the parish churches, which also honoured Mrs Smith.
An alms dish, inscribed with Mr Smith's name and the dates of his churchwardenship, was also given to the church as a commemorative gift from the congregation.
