Plans to demolish a former cinema in Stalham and replace it with six homes have been given the go ahead - despite worries they will obscure the area's church.
The proposal to build four terraced houses and two flats on the site on Brumstead Road had been recommended for refusal by planning officers at North Norfolk District Council. But the planning committee chose to go against the officers' recommendation and conditionally approved the development. The conditions of the planning permission will be drawn up following further discussions.
