Police are urging homeowners in Holt to be vigilant after two burglaries in the town.
Police are urging homeowners in Holt to be vigilant after two burglaries in the town.
Two houses were burgled in Princess Court, Holt, sometime between 10.30pm on Saturday, September 4 and 7.30am the following day.
Thieves gained entry to the properties by forcing open rear ground floor windows. A small amount of cash was stolen from one property and a digital camera and jewellery from the other.
Officers have warned homeowners to take care and offered advice including fitting window locks on all accessible windows, both upstairs and downstairs, using timer switches to turn on some lights when it gets dark and cancelling any milk or newspaper deliveries if going away.
