Charity collection tin for library improvements stolen from Holt

Staff at Holt library have been left shocked after their charity collection box was stolen.

The collection tin with around £40 worth of public donations was stolen at around 8.15pm on January 30.

The North Norfolk Police have asked potential witnesses to come forward, and call 101 quoting reference 515 of 30/1/2018.

A spokesperson for Norfolk Libraries said: “We are extremely disappointed that our donation box at Holt Library was stolen.

“The box contained around £40 of public donations that were being collected to improve the library.

“If anyone has any information, please contact the police.”
