A jewellery shop in Holt is celebrating being named a finalist in this year's UK Jewellery Awards.
Lanes Jewellery in Market Place is up for accolades in the 'retailer of the year' and 'bridal jewellery retailer of the year' categories.
Mike Lane, owner, said he was delighted with the news. He said: 'It's been another busy year for all the staff at Lanes, so being nominated feels like a wonderful reward for all our hard work. The team were ecstatic when hearing about the nominations, we will be waiting with bated breath to hear the announcement of the winners. We have come a long way since starting with two trays of silver rings in 1981 so it would be some achievement.'
The business has recently brought in a computer-aided design and 3D printer to complement its handmade production.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London's Artillery Garden on July 3.
