Holt community groups to benefit from town council grants

Thousands of pounds worth of grants will be given to community groups in Holt.

Members of the town council agreed last night at the community centre to award the money to five associations.

The grants were £1,000 to the Holt Playing Fields Association; £1,500 to Holt Citizens Advice Bureau; £250 to the Christmas lights committee; £400 to Holt Community Centre for cinema screens; and £300 to the Falcon children’s arts festival.

A grant application from Holt Festival was rejected.
