An artist who paints with his toes is brightening up the lives of residents at a care home complex in north Norfolk.
Peter Longstaff, who was born without arms, has donated a painting of an autumn and winter scene to Lloyd Court - a Housing with Care scheme at High Kelling.
He is a member of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists and is related to a staff member at the Broadland Housing Group run development which is situated in the grounds of Kelling Hospital, near Holt.
The painting, which measures around seven feet by four feet, will be placed in the entrance to the scheme where it can be enjoyed by everyone.
Peter, who is one of 800 artists worldwide who paint without the use of their hands, has also agreed to paint another painting of spring and summer as the seasons change.
Marie Quantrill, who is the manager of the scheme, said: “Peter has an amazing skill, his paintings are wonderful and they will bring such joy to the people who live here and their visitors, and we are pleased to be involved and support Peter’s and the MFPA’s work.”
